URBAN DESIGNER
Progressive local government in premier resort location has immediate opening for an Urban Designer. Hilton Head Island is a barrier island located 45 minutes from Savannah, GA. Recreational, cultural and outdoor amenities are abundant and, coupled with its rich history, make the island an ideal place to live and work.
This professional level position provides guidance in a full range of design, development and redevelopment activities and performs professional, technical planning and design review for the Town. The position reports to the LMO Official, but considerable leeway is granted for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative.
Landscape Architect position
Sunburst Landscaping is currently looking for a SC Licensed Landscape Architect, where the primary function is to actively engage with customers to create an outdoor environment they enjoy. Candidates should have the ability to follow and teach company objectives, a knowledgeable resource, team player, and assist team members and company to accomplish goals. Soft skills include enthusiasm, passion, creativity, commitment, and showing love of the work. This position also requires 2-5 years of experience, strong communication skills, and public speaking. This position will be evaluated on the individual’s ability to accomplish goals established for company values and mission, employee metrics, team effectiveness, and customer metrics.

First LEED Gold Certification for Multi-Family Development in South Carolina & by the way they are Affordable Housing!
Phase two of the Daniel Island Apartments and Grandview Apartments in Charleston have recently earned the first LEED gold certification in South Carolina for multi-family development. Both are being developed by the Humanities Foundation, a local leader in the development of affordable housing projects. They specialize in teaming local funding with federal tax credit initiatives for affordable housing across the southeast.
